BELDEN SANDMOLD CLAY PAVERS

Belcrest Product Line
Belcrest pavers are manufactured in a process known as the "soft-mud" or molded process, whereby clay is formed into brick by a mold that has been
pre-lubricated with sand. The sand acts as a release agent so that the clay does not stick to the mold. Brick made in this manner is
refered to as "sandmold" brick.

BELDEN EXTRUDED CLAY PAVERS

City Line Product Line
City Line pavers are manufactured in a process known as the "stiff-mud" or extrusion, in which clay is forced through a die to form a column. An automated cutting machine then slices the column of clay into individual brick.
