Our Heritage

For over 40 years, family-owned Belden Brick & Supply Company has treated construction as fine art, implemented by impeccable craftsmen who step for a time, into your dream. The interest in creating architectural beauty follows the Belden family back to Canton, Ohio 1885. That’s when great-great-grandfather, Henry Belden, started a brick manufacturing company. The business would grow to become a diverse legacy, founded on personal and industry excellence that continues to this day. Fast-forward 80 years!

1965. Newly graduated from college, Paul Belden, III, left Ohio, moving his young family to Grand Rapids, Michigan. His goal? To expand the company’s brick sales territory. For Paul III, it soon went beyond that. Belden would offer customers the newest, highest quality products in brick and stone. And it would transform homes and buildings with the structure and style no other medium could deliver. Yes, brick was in the Belden blood. Sons, Paul IV, Todd, and their families would inherit that passion and look forward to meeting you today.
